ONLINE SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF WASTEWATER TREATMENT WITH ACTIVE SLUDGE IN THE MEAT SECTOR

The main objective of this project is the development of a new system specifically designed for online monitoring and control of wastewater treatment processes with active sludge in the meat sector. The new system will optimise energy consumption and improve the performance of the installations through biomonitoring and control of active sludge. The system will be validated in a pilot installation project with typical processes of the meat sector, which will include a two-step process: nitrification (aerobic) and denitrification (anoxic).
