El objetivo principal del proyecto es el desarrollo de un nuevo sistema diseñado específicamente para la monitorización y el control online de procesos de depuración de aguas residuales con fangos activos en el sector cárnico. El nuevo sistema optimizará el consumo energético y mejorará el rendimiento de las instalaciones mediante biomonitorización y control de los lodos activos. El sistema se validará en una instalación piloto de características típicas del sector cárnico, que incluirán un proceso de dos pasos: nitrificación (aeróbico) y desnitrificación (anóxico).

The main objective of this project is the development of a new system specifically designed for online monitoring and control of wastewater treatment processes with active sludge in the meat sector. The new system will optimise energy consumption and improve the performance of the installations through biomonitoring and control of active sludge. The system will be validated in a pilot installation project with typical processes of the meat sector, which will include a two-step process: nitrification (aerobic) and denitrification (anoxic).[:]
