El objetivo principal del proyecto es el desarrollo de un nuevo proceso de clasificación y corte de tablas de madera basado en visión artificial. Esta solución constituye un gran cambio con respecto al sistema anterior, ya que implica dar la vuelta al proceso de modo que el análisis de calidad de los materiales se realice antes y no después de que pasen por la línea de producción.

The main objective of the project is the development of a new process of classification and cutting of wooden boards based on artificial vision. This solution constitutes a big change with respect to the previous system, since it implies turning the process around so that the analysis of the quality of the materials is carried out before and not after they pass through the production line.
