El objetivo general del proyecto es la mejora de la competitividad y la productividad de las pymes del sector metal mecánico mediante la implantación de tecnologías PLM a su sistema productivo. La tecnología PLM (Product Livecycle Management o Gestión del ciclo de vida de Producto) permite a las empresas mejorar sus procesos de producción y diseño internos mediante la utilización de un entorno colaborativo en el que la información correcta llega en todo momento al lugar adecuado.

The general objective of the project is to improve the competitiveness and productivity of SMEs in the metal-mechanical sector through the implementation of PLM (Product Livecycle Management) technologies in their production system. PLM technology allows companies to improve their internal production and design processes through the use of a collaborative environment in which the right information arrives at the right place at the right time.
