The objective for this project was the development of a simple, robust, easy to use and portable water purification system with the necessary elements to obtain drinking water for human consumption to meet the health and quality standards established by the World Health Organization. In addition it will have the a self-cleaning mechanism, which is a considerable improvement over the portable water treatment manufactures on the current market.
